Tradition, Conservative and superstition
Are Tradition, conservative and superstition the same?
Well, can we classify
Well, can we classify
- Tradition as a passed down knowledge and an act had been practise base on the understanding of the knowledge and how it came about.
- Conservative being just acting on the forms and believing that the thought is right without understanding how the old thought came about.
- Superstition is believing and practising on the forms, and believing that is the way to act in a particular observed situation, without much understanding on how the form came about.
In current modern situation, we still can see people acting superstitiously. Even in the scientific regime. It happens because we might lack of information at that point of time. Information passed be process critically to check on what basis it was derived before executing it. Sadly, no matter how much education is being put into society, people end up with "new" superstition and abandoning tradition.
